The new single by Infinium, blasts those genres away. Hailing from Rochester, New York, Infinium blends the Alan-Watts-style mentality of genre-blending to accomplish new heights. Brandon Essig, who I’ve spoke with, lives in Northern New Jersey, and only tracks drums and plays shows for Infinium. The bands older material doesn’t even compare to their new single. Although, they only have 157 views on their single, “Mycelium”, which came out a small time ago, not long ago, they are packing a huge package with their beautiful clean vocals, and screaming/harsh vocals. The jazz leads mixed with metalcore breakdowns are wondrous. Jazz like this should be admired. Don’t knock the hustle. Blending genres and doing what everyone fears is true success. I’ll work my magic to get these guys a crap-ton of views. “Mcycelium”, is a hit and Infinium deserves this. Especially with that sickening lead guitarist, and those beautiful harmonies that come out of nowhere! Be sure to jam, “Mycelium”, and the other artists we work with below.
